This spacious and characterful family home was in need of some upgrading and modernisation. By removing some internal load-bearing walls and relocating the existing WC to beneath the stairs, a superb open-plan kitchen area was created.

 

New glazed folding doors provide light and improved access out onto the decked external seating & entertaining space, and newly landscaped garden.

Whilst it is often our brief to ensure any new structure is kept as inconspicuous as possible, this is a great example of how with carefully considered design and choice of materials, the structure can be expressed and actually contribute to the overall style & appearance of the room.
